The West Grey Public Library is bringing pottery painting parties to children and youth 5+ on Thursday, November 17, from 5 - 6 pm and 6 - 7 pm. Participants can register for an hour of pottery painting with supplies from Daisy's Clay House ($10 materials fee). The pieces will be sent away to be glazed and cured in the kiln and then returned to the library for pick-up. Pre-registration is required by email — kids@westgreylibrary.com or in-person at the front desk of any branch.
The Durham branch of the West Grey Library is also accepting donations for the Durham and District Food Bank Christmas Hamper Program. Donations may also be made at Northern Credit Union in Durham. The deadline for donations is December 14. Details are available from the Food Bank.
