During the week of January 13 - 20, 2022, the West Grey Police Service responded to 80 total calls for service.

10 – Police Information / Assistance Calls
2 – Drug Investigations
3 – Suspicious Persons / Vehicles
3 – Stolen Vehicles (one incident)
1 – Warrants executed (Arrest Warrants)
7 – Traffic Hazards / Traffic Enforcements
3 - Prevent Breach of the Peace
3 – Harassment Complaints
Drug Investigation - January 27, 2022 at approximately 5:00 pm West Grey Police officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Town of Ayton. Officers located a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine, Cocaine and Ecstasy, and scales.
44 year-old man of Listowel, Ontario was arrested and has been charged with:
The accused was held for a Bail Hearing but later released by the Ontario Court of Justice despite being on a previous release order for the same offences.
Drug Investigation -January 29, 2022 at approximately 2:00 pm West Grey Police officers executed a Search Warrant on a residence in the Town of Ayton. Officers located a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine, Non Prescribed Prescription Drugs and Psilocybin mushrooms, scales and a quantity of currency.
A 39 year-old woman of Ayton, Ontario was arrested and has been charged with:
Stolen Vehicle(s) – February 3, 2022 - West Grey Police Criminal Investigation Unit and Uniformed officers continue to investigate the theft of a trailer with two snowmobiles.

Ski-Doo – 2009 MX2 Renegade, Black – Ontario License – 990995
Ski-Doo – 2013 – Renegade 1200, Black – Ontario License – 5AH027
