Since May 01, 2021, The Grey Bruce OPP have attended a number of Break and Enters reported after the fact in the Municipality of Grey Highlands. During these investigations, it has been determined that garages and outbuildings have been entered, and property has been stolen. In several instances, door and windows to these buildings were unsecured, and entered without force.
The Grey Bruce OPP encourages members of the public to call in and report suspicious behaviour. Below are also some tips to help secure your property and make it less of a target:
Grey Bruce OPP are continuing to investigate and anyone with information regarding this or any incident is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or online at www.opp.ca/reporting. Should you wish to remain anonymous you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or leave an anonymous online message at www.P3tips.com where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
