The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a driver with multiple offences following a traffic stop.
On April 4, 2023, at 12:06 P.M., A Grey Bruce OPP officer was conducting patrols in the Township of Southgate when they stopped a motor vehicle to investigate a Highway Traffic Act matter.
During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that the driver was currently a prohibited driver under the Criminal Code.
The Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 55 year-old from Southgate with the following offences:
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound at a later date.
The involved motor vehicle was impounded for 45 days.
