SPONSORED CONTENT — Meet Roo. This three-year-old girl is a Heeler-Beagle Cross with a big heart and energy to burn. She likes everyone she meets and gets along with dogs and children. Because of her high energy level, she isn't recommended for families with children under 10. Roo does have separation anxiety, so would do best in an active home where people are around most of the time. She is booked for a spay and then will be ready for her forever home. Please call the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter (GBAS) at 519-372-1911 for an appointment to meet this lovable girl.
Largely volunteer-based, the GBAS receives no financial assistance from any level of government and is 100% funded by adoption fees, private donations and fundraising events. The shelter is located at 457437 Concession Rd 8 S, Municipality of Meaford.
Although COVID-19 protocols have been relaxed, the GBAS is continuing to arrange animal visits by appointment. It allows volunteers/staff to spend enough time with prospective adopters as well as people surrendering animals. Face masks are optional.
