October 30, 2021 at approximately 1:40 am, Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting proactive patrols in Dundalk when they saw a suspicious vehicle parked at the Dundalk Memorial Park.
Officers spoke with the occupants of the vehicle, and during the investigation the driver was placed under arrest. The driver was transported to an OPP detachment, where further tests were administered.
Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 27-year-old, from Grey Highlands with the following offences:
The accused was released and must attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on December 2, 2021.
The accused's driver licence was automatically suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was towed, and impounded for 7 days.
