The Feversham and District Kinsmen proudly displayed the car that was donated in memory of Inez and Garnet Magee and raffled off to raise $10,000 for the new Markdale Hospital. It was Inez’ wish to make a donation to the hospital so she contacted the Kinsmen with an idea. “Inez donated the car and the Kinsmen held a raffle. The response was great and before long, all the tickets were sold.” Stated Kinsmen Brian Hiltz. Avery Rowe was the proud winner of this 1986 Dodge 600 convertible.
“The Foundation is thankful to the Magee family and the Kinsmen for making this generous donation possible. These funds will go a long way to provide equipment for the new Markdale Hospital. We are grateful for this show of community support”, stated Darlene Lamberti, Executive Director of Centre Grey Health Services Foundation.
