On April 10, 2021 at 6:48 pm, Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to single all-terrain vehicle (atv) collision on Campbell's Hill, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
OPP officers arrested the ATV operator for impaired driving. A breath test recorded readings over three times the legal limit of 80 milligrams (mgs) of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
As a result of this investigation, Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 51 year old, from West Grey with the following offences:
Operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol, section 320.14(1)(a) Criminal Code of Canada (CCC) Operation while impaired with blood alcohol concentration 80 mgs or more, section 320.14(1)(b) CCC Driving while under suspension, section 53(1) Highway Traffic Act (HTA) Use plates not authorized for vehicle, section 12(1)(d) HTA
The accused must attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on May 13, 2021.
