One individual is facing fraud charges after they were stopped at a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program in Southgate Township.
On September 10, 2024, at 1:15 am, the Dufferin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a RIDE Program at Highway 10 and Main Street in Dundalk. A vehicle proceeded through the RIDE Program. As police were speaking to the driver an odour of cannabis was detected. The driver was arrested, and the vehicle was searched. Officers located 27 credit cards from different institutions and different names.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on October 8, 2024.
