BY SOUTHGREY.CA STAFF — With over 50 vendors already booked for this year's big affair, organizers are confident that the 2023 South Grey Home and Garden Show (SGHGS) will be the biggest local event of the season. Billed as a marketplace of makers, designers, doers, builders and dreamers, the SGHGS will not disappoint vendors or visitors alike.
Many vending categories, including roofing, gardening, real estate, windows and doors, electrical, plumbing, home security and health are filling up quickly. Augmented by a number of food and other related businesses, both indoors and out, the buildings and grounds of Flesherton's Community Centre at 101 Highland Drive will be well-appointed, with lots to see. The municipalities of Southern Grey County and their services will also be well represented at the Flesherton Aren and Kinplex this April 29th and 30th.
Additionally, attendees will be entertained and informed by many speakers on the Home and Garden Show stage. A steady stream of lecturers, speaking on a variety of subjects is planned this year. Well-known CBC personality Paul Zammit will bring his high level of gardening expertise to the stage. Many other participants will be announced soon.
Another popular aspect of the SGHGS is the Prize Passport contest. Passports will be available the entrance. For $2, visitors will be encouraged to visit vendors around the entire show where it will be stamped. Once the Passport is full, it can be entered in a draw for the 2023 Backyard Prize Package with an estimated value of $4,000.
Sponsors, too, are lining up to promote the show which represents the communities of Southgate, West Grey, Chatsworth and Grey Highlands.
Interested vendors and sponsors are urged to contact organizers through the SGHGS website. More information will follow in the continued Countdown to the South Grey Home and Garden Show. Stay tuned!

We believe this service is more important today than ever before, as social media has given rise to misinformation, largely unchecked by big corporations who put profits ahead of their responsibilities.
South Grey News does not have the resources of a big corporation. We are a small, locally owned-and-operated organization.
