OPP arrest and charge Dundalk man for car theft

In relation to an ongoing property crime investigation in Grey County, members of the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Grey Bruce and South Bruce Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) obtained a Search Warrant for a property on Artemesia Street North in Dundalk.

On February 20, 2024, at 9:05 am, members of Grey Bruce and South Bruce CSCU along with members of the Grey Bruce OPP executed the Search Warrant.

As a result of the execution of this search warrant, officers located and seized a 2018 Mercedes-Benz 2C4. The total value of the recovered stolen property is estimated to be $40,000.

As a result, a 49-year-old of Dundalk was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession property obtained by crime over $5000
  • Altering/destroying/removing a vehicle identification number

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on March 28, 2024.
