Bruce Trail Day is an annual celebration of the Bruce Trail and the wonders of the Niagara Escarpment, hosted by the Bruce Trail Conservancy (BTC) at each of its Bruce Trail Clubs on Sunday, October 6.
Free guided hikes and family activities will be offered to help you explore the Bruce Trail and discover the amazing variety of life along the Niagara Escarpment. Come and learn about our year-round hiking programs, volunteer opportunities, and what the Bruce Trail Conservancy are doing to preserve a ribbon of wilderness in southern Ontario from Niagara to Tobermory.
In the southern Grey County region, there will be guided hikes at Eugenia Falls Conservation Area on Sunday, October 6 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm with free parking for Bruce Trail Day only!
The Beaver Valley Bruce Trail Club and Grey Sauble Conservation Authority will be at Eugenia Falls for this annual celebration of the Bruce Trail. All are welcome!
Upon arrival, visit the Bruce Trail and Grey Sauble Conservation Authority tents for information about the Bruce Trail and Grey Sauble Conservation, all while enjoying some family friendly activities.
10am – Meet a hike leader for a leisurely 3 km hike for great views of the Eugenia Falls and Cuckoo Valley. Wear sturdy footwear. Click here for more information or to pre-register.
1pm – Choose between a leisurely 2 km family-friendly hike with on trail activities for the young or young at heart. Click here for more information or to pre-register. This Bruce Trail Day the BTC are continuing their celebration of belonging and highlighting that everyone of us belongs in this space, no matter our age, ability, race or ethnicity, gender identity or sexual orientation, or economic or social circumstances.
