Brightshores Health System’s 2024-2025 annual report, Proud Partners in Your Care, reflects a year of progress, innovation and collaboration with partners. The report highlights collective achievements in advancing high-quality, patient-centred care for communities across Grey Bruce.

“This past year brought meaningful accomplishments and complex challenges that have strengthened our shared purpose,” said Board Chair Deborah Pope. “We are incredibly proud of what Brightshores has achieved and deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this progress possible.”

The report features key milestones, including advancements in medical imaging, expanded use of technology to enhance care, new quality and safety initiatives, stronger patient and family engagement, and continued improvements in Emergency Department experiences.

“We’ve made significant progress towards becoming a more connected and integrated regional health system – focused on delivering more coordinated care, better experiences for patients, and improved health outcomes across our large and diverse rural area,” said President and CEO Ann Ford. “This annual report is a reflection of the dedication, collaboration and impact of our teams working together with many valued partners.”

The 2024-2025 annual report is now available on the Brightshores website at Brightshores.ca. You can follow Brightshores Health System on social media for highlights over the coming weeks.

At South Grey News, we endeavour to bring you truthful and factual, up-to-date local community news in a quick and easy-to-digest format that’s free of political bias. We believe this service is more important today than ever before, as social media has given rise to misinformation, largely unchecked by big corporations who put profits ahead of their responsibilities.

South Grey News does not have the resources of a big corporation. We are a small, locally owned-and-operated organization. Research, analysis and physical attendance at public meetings and community events requires considerable effort. But contributions from readers and advertisers, however big or small, go a long way to helping us deliver positive, open and honest journalism for this community.
