BMO Financial Group boosted the Together In Care campaign this week with a $100,000 donation to the new Markdale Hospital project. BMO has been a loyal supporter of the Centre Grey Health Services Foundation for many years.
“Hospitals provide critical care to our communities and BMO is proud to grow the good in Grey County with our donation to the new Markdale Hospital project,” said Cheri Knott Regional Vice President at BMO Financial Group. “This new state-of-the-art healthcare facility will create better access to care and improve health outcomes for many residents for years to come.”
This significant donation confirms BMO’s commitment to enriching the lives of everyone in this community.
“We are so fortunate to be the beneficiary of their generosity, and we are grateful for their partnership” said Harvey Fraser, Chair of Centre Grey Health Services Foundation and the “Together In Care” campaign.
“By making this investment in our hospital, BMO is making a significant and lasting impact on the community and local healthcare,” said Gary Sims, CEO and President of Grey Bruce Health Services. “We truly appreciate their support.”
The new Markdale Hospital will be a 68,000 square foot technologically advanced hospital with 7 in-patient rooms and 1 palliative care room. It is on target to be completed in mid-2023. For further details on how you can help, please visit www.togetherincare.com
At South Grey News, we endeavour to bring you truthful and factual, up-to-date local community news in a quick and easy-to-digest format that’s free of political bias. We believe this service is more important today than ever before, as social media has given rise to misinformation, largely unchecked by big corporations who put profits ahead of their responsibilities.
South Grey News does not have the resources of a big corporation. We are a small, locally owned-and-operated organization. Research, analysis and physical attendance at public meetings and community events requires considerable effort. But contributions from readers and advertisers, however big or small, go a long way to helping us deliver positive, open and honest journalism for this community.
Please consider supporting South Grey News with a donation in lieu of a subscription fee and let us know that our efforts are appreciated. Thank you.
