The Blue Mountains Public Library Arts Walk painter

The Gallery at L.E. Shore and the Arts and Culture Council (ACC) will host an Arts Walk on July 8, 2023, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. This one-day event will include galleries, businesses, restaurants, the L.E. Shore Library, parks/parkettes, and the front lawns of homes and churches between the Downtown Thornbury and the Downtown Clarksburg districts.

  • Over 50 stops along the 2.2 km Arts Walk featuring artists, galleries, restaurants and businesses. Locations will feature artists or some other special treat.
  • A food vendor and licensed venue at the L.E. Shore Library, with restaurants and other venues in both Clarksburg and Thornbury.
  • Free and paid parking — visit the Town of the Blue Mountains website for information on locations and (where applicable) parking fees. There is also plenty of free parking along Bruce & Marsh Streets from Downtown Thornbury to Downtown Clarksburg.
  • Washrooms and hydration stations, which are available at different points in the Walk (see the Arts Walk map below for more information).

Arts Walk map includes participating artists and locations along the 2.2 km walk. The walk takes place from Bruce St North in Thornbury through Bruce St South and Marsh Street in Clarksburg.

At South Grey News, we endeavour to bring you truthful and factual, up-to-date local community news in a quick and easy-to-digest format that’s free of political bias. We believe this service is more important today than ever before, as social media has given rise to misinformation, largely unchecked by big corporations who put profits ahead of their responsibilities.

South Grey News does not have the resources of a big corporation. We are a small, locally owned-and-operated organization. Research, analysis and physical attendance at public meetings and community events requires considerable effort. But contributions from readers and advertisers, however big or small, go a long way to helping us deliver positive, open and honest journalism for this community.

Please consider supporting South Grey News with a donation in lieu of a subscription fee and let us know that our efforts are appreciated. Thank you.
