August 16, 2025, at approximately 8:20 pm, members of the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting general patrol duties on Highway 10 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands when they observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed.
A traffic stop was initiated, and officers detected signs of impairment from the driver. An Approved Screening Device was administered, resulting in a FAIL. The driver was arrested and transported to the Markdale OPP Detachment for further testing.
A 33-year-old, of Grey Highlands, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act, and Automobile Insurance Act Offences:
