West Grey Police Service has made significant progress in the investigation of the armed robbery that occurred on June 10, 2025, at the Northern Credit Union in Durham.
To date, three youths have been arrested in connection with this violent and disturbing incident:
In addition, a fourth youth suspect has been identified and is currently in police custody. Charges related to the robbery are forthcoming.
This was a deeply impactful incident for the community of West Grey. Four masked suspects armed with weapons stormed a local financial institution and fled with an undisclosed amount of money, leaving many residents feeling shaken. The swift identification and arrests of those responsible represent a meaningful step toward justice and community reassurance.
Chief of Police Jeremy White has stated, “This was a terrifying event for our town. Holding these individuals accountable despite their young age is an important part of helping our community feel safe again. We are proud of the diligent work of our officers to identify and arrest the individuals responsible for this.”
