SPONSORED CONTENT — Meet Nyah. She's a four-year-old Bullie Cross — a big girl, approximately 75 lbs, but very sweet. She's been great with all of the animal shelter volunteers. Nyah is good with dogs but really much more interested in being with her people, so she's best as the only dog in the family. This girl has had multiple litters of puppies in her short life, so really deserves some time for herself. Nyah is up-to-date on shots and awaiting a spay after which she'll be ready to go to a new home. She loves her walks and playing fetch. Bully experience is recommended for anyone interested in adopting her and she's not recommended for a family with small children. Please call the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter (GBAS) at 519 372-1911 for an appointment to meet this girl.
Largely volunteer-based, the GBAS receives no financial assistance from any level of government and is 100% funded by adoption fees, private donations and fundraising events. The shelter is located at 457437 Concession Rd 8 S, Municipality of Meaford.
Although COVID-19 protocols have been relaxed, the GBAS is continuing to arrange animal visits by appointment. It allows volunteers/staff to spend enough time with prospective adopters as well as people surrendering animals. Face masks are optional.

At South Grey News, we endeavour to bring you truthful and factual, up-to-date local community news in a quick and easy-to-digest format that’s free of political bias. We believe this service is more important today than ever before, as social media has given rise to misinformation, largely unchecked by big corporations who put profits ahead of their responsibilities.
South Grey News does not have the resources of a big corporation. We are a small, locally owned-and-operated organization. Research, analysis and physical attendance at public meetings and community events requires considerable effort. But contributions from readers and advertisers, however big or small, go a long way to helping us deliver positive, open and honest journalism for this community.
Please consider supporting South Grey News with a donation in lieu of a subscription fee and let us know that our efforts are appreciated. Thank you.
