Adoption of the week: meet Dash

SPONSORED CONTENT — Meet Dash. This 7-8 year-old male long-haired grey kitty is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and is looking to find his new home. Dash loves to be brushed and is very laid back. He loves people, kids, and is great with the other cats in his temporary home at the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter (GBAS). To meet Dash give them a call at 519-372-1911.

During the COVID-19 crisis, people are working at the shelter to care for the animals but they are limiting the numbers of volunteers and restricting general public visits. GBAS serves the residents of both Grey and Bruce Counties who can no longer care for their own pet cats and dogs. The shelter minimizes the time that surrendered pets spend at the shelter by consistently matching animals with suitable new homes.

Largely volunteer-based, the shelter receives no financial assistance from any level of government and is 100% funded by adoption fees, private donations and fundraising events. The shelter is located at 457437 Concession Rd 8 S, Municipality of Meaford.
