The IPM 2026 Committee, the Ontario Plowmen’s Association and the Bruce County Plowmen’s Association have announced that the International Plowing Match (IPM) logo has been chosen and souvenirs are now available.
The International Plowing Match and Rural Expo is scheduled to return to Bruce County from September 20-26, 2026, at the site of Lang Farms just west of Walkerton (corner of Durham Road and Bruce Road 3).
“The logo depicts the 50th Anniversary of the IPM being in Bruce County (1976-2026). We think people will be pleased to add an item to their souvenir collection” stated Gord Lang, IPM 2026 Chairperson.
In an effort to begin to raise awareness and get people involved, a first wave of souvenirs has been created and will be available for those who would like to support a local initiative and local businesses as part of their Christmas shopping. Items can be viewed online. December 11 is the deadline for Christmas orders.
“Planning and progress continue and our call for volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors and vendors is an on-going process, added Lang. If you are interested in getting involved in the biggest event in Bruce County, please send an email to brucecountyipm@gmail.com or connect through our Facebook page. New ideas are always welcome.”
"Merry Christmas and Season’s Blessings to all, and please watch and listen for more details on local media and social media as plans are developed for what will be an event to remember in the County of Bruce in 2026!"
At South Grey News, we endeavour to bring you truthful and factual, up-to-date local community news in a quick and easy-to-digest format that’s free of political bias. We believe this service is more important today than ever before, as social media has given rise to misinformation, largely unchecked by big corporations who put profits ahead of their responsibilities.
South Grey News does not have the resources of a big corporation. We are a small, locally owned-and-operated organization. Research, analysis and physical attendance at public meetings and community events requires considerable effort. But contributions from readers and advertisers, however big or small, go a long way to helping us deliver positive, open and honest journalism for this community.
Please consider supporting South Grey News with a donation in lieu of a subscription fee and let us know that our efforts are appreciated. Thank you.
