Grey Road 9 – Work is scheduled from June 9 to July 31. This project includes pulverizing and paving a 5.5 km section of Grey Road 9 between Grey Road 23 to 275 m east of Southgate Sideroad 3. The project also includes a 2.3 km asphalt overlay of Grey Road 9 from 275 m east of Southgate Sideroad 3 to Southgate Sideroad 7. The total expected investment for this project is $2.75 million. Grey Road 9 will be open to traffic with intermittent alternating lane closures throughout the duration of construction.
An information session is scheduled for Thursday May 21, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Frank MacIntyre Building in Dundalk.
Grey Road 12 – Work is scheduled from May to the end of September. This project will include pulverizing and paving an 11.1 km section of Grey Road 12 between Grey Road 40 and Grey Road 112 / Sideroad 16. The total expected investment for this project is $4.73 million. Grey Road 12 will have daytime closures at various times throughout construction with detour routes in place.
An information session is scheduled for Tuesday June 3, 2025 at the Centre Grey Complex - Markdale Arena from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Grey Roads 14 – Work is scheduled from July to the end of August. This project will include pulverizing and paving a 5.4 km section of Grey Road 14 from 800 m south of Southgate Road 14 to Southgate Road 08. The total expected investment for this project is $1.9 million. The road reconstruction project will have intermittent lane closures with traffic control.
An information session is scheduled for Thursday May 21, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Frank MacIntyre Building in Dundalk.
Grey Road 25 – Work is scheduled from July to the end of August. This project will include the overlay of an 11.3 km section of Grey Road 25 from Grey Road 3 to Highway 6. The total expected investment for this project is $1.58 million. The road will remain open with intermittent lane closures.
An information session will be scheduled for June. Details will be posted on the Grey County website, www.grey.ca.
Grey Road 28 – Work is scheduled from mid May to the end of September. This project will include the reconstruction of Grey Road 28 from Grey Road 4 (10th Street) to 14th Street as well as replace the replacement of traffic signals at the intersection of Grey Road 4 and Grey Road 28. Total expected investment for this project is $1.25 million. The road will remain open throughout the project, with intermittent lane closures with traffic control. An information session is scheduled for Wednesday May 14, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 at the Hanover P&H Centre, in the Lions Den room.
Grey Road 30 - Work is scheduled from the beginning of August to the end of September. This project will include replacements of 10 culverts on Grey Road 30 from Grey Road 13 to Lower Valley Road. The total expected investment for this project is $531,000. The road will remain open throughout the project with intermittent lane closures with traffic control.
A public information session is scheduled for June 3, 2025, at the Centre Grey Complex - Markdale Arena from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Grey Road 119– Work is scheduled from June to the beginning of July. This project will include the overlay of a 6.9 km section of Grey Road 119 from Grey Road 2 to Grey Road 13. Total expected investment for this project is $996,000. The road will remain open with intermittent lane closures with traffic control.
An information session is scheduled for the Grey Road 119 portion of the project on Tuesday June 3, 2025 at the Centre Grey Complex - Markdale Arena from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
