WOAA senior hockey teams teaming up with Public Health


Hockey tickets when you drop off unused meds at participating pharmacies

SOUTH GREY NEWS STAFF – 

Three teams from the WOAA senior hockey league are teaming up with the Grey Bruce Public Health Unit for their medication return blitz and offering game vouchers when you drop off old or unused medication at participating pharmacies.

From December 13 to December 20, the Durham Thundercats, Shallow Lake Crushers and the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks will be giving away a ticket for a regular season game (while supplies last) to anyone who drops off old or unused medication.

Participating pharmacies include: Durham IDA Drug Mart, located at 203 Garafraxa Road North, Durham; McKenzie’s Pharmacy, located at 608 Berford Street in Wiarton; and Kristen’s Pharmacy, located at 197 Albert Street South, Unit 3, in Southampton.

Additional pharmacies, not part of the promotion, will also be accepting medications. They include:

Markdale IDA Pharmacy, 2 Toronto Street North, Markdale
Sauble Pharmacy, 329 Main Street North, Sauble Beach
Peninsula Pharmacy, 76 Main Street, Lion’s Head
Gordon’s Pharmasave, 767 Queen Street, Kincardine
Wardrop Pharmasave, 639 Goderich Street, Port Elgin
