A happy ending for what could have been a disastrous situation. On May 22, 2021 an 87-year-old man went for a walk in the woods at dusk and became disorientated. After spending over 7 hours in the forest he was located safely, treated and released at the scene. West Grey Police thank the Ontario Provincial Police and Grey EMS/Paramedics for their assistance.

On May 15, 2021 a 56-year-old woman from Dundalk, Ontario was arrested and charged with Possession of “Crystal Meth” following a traffic stop in Durham. The accused was processed and later released. She will appear in Walkerton Court in June.

On May 24, 2021 officers were called to an assault. Following an investigation an Arrest Warrant is being sought against a 29-year-old man from Chesley, Ontario.

On May 26, 2021 a 23-year-old man from Durham, Ontario was arrested and charged with Theft following yet another incident. The male is being held in custody – again, pending a Bail Hearing.
