On September 10, 2020 West Grey Police executed an outstanding arrest warrant for one of the persons accused of theft of a trailer from a business on Hy 6 south and the theft of a Kubota lawn tractor from a business on Bruce Road 10. These thefts occurred on July 13th and the investigation leading to the arrest was aided by other police services and tips from citizens. The arrested male had warrants for similar offences in Wellington county and Guelph. He was held for bail and remain in custody at press time. His co-accused is also in custody but has yet to be formally charged with the offences committed here.
Sometime on September 11, 2020 a small water pump was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Bruce St S in Durham, There are no suspects at this time.
Sometime between September 13th and September 16th unknown culprits removed a trailer mounted Himoinsa generator from an address in Elmwood. If you have any information about this incident please contact Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or West Grey Police at 519-371-6911.
