The Municipality of West Grey has launched a community survey to help gather suggestions for the Main Street Revitalization grant that was awarded in January, 2018.
West Grey will be receiving $48,719.61 as part of the $26 million investment announced by Jeff Leal, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Minister Responsible for Small Business.
“The intent of the Main Street Revitalization grant is to help municipalities make important investments in their main street areas,” said West Grey Mayor Kevin Eccles. “Launching a survey to ask our businesses and residents for ideas will help identify community priorities and most certainly uncover some creative suggestions,” he added.
Paper copies will be available at the municipal office, libraries and some businesses. The survey runs until June 20. Staff will report the findings to West Grey Council this summer.
