On February 10 at approximately 8:40 a.m. Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle for speeding northbound on Highway 10 near Berkley in the Township of Chatsworth.
In a Grey County OPP media release, the vehicle was found to be registered to the passenger. Further investigation revealed that the driver was to abstain from having any contact or communication with the passenger.
Subsequently, the 28-year old male from Owen Sound was arrested and held for a bail hearing the same day. The accused was charged with Fail to Comply with Conditions of Undertaking Given by Officer in Charge as well as speeding and is scheduled to return to court in Owen Sound on February 15.
