On July 20, 2022, at 11:08 am, the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence on Proton Street South in the Township of Southgate.
Officers arrived on scene and placed the accused under arrest.
The Grey Bruce OPP have charged a, 48-year-old, from the Township of Southgate with break, enter a dwelling with intent to commit indictable offence.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound at a later date.
