Beauty of West Grey winners announced



Winners of the Beauty of West Grey Winter Photo Contest were announced April 10. 

"It was a great hit," said Nella Monaco-Wells, President of the West Grey Chamber of Commerce. "We had over 60 photos sent in," she added, expressing difficulty in selecting the ultimate winners.

1st Prize: Nicholas Bossi – 'Buddy in Wintertime' Girl and Horse (location: Normanby)


 Mother & Child

2nd Prize: Nicholas Bossi – 'Mother & Child' 2 Canadian Geese (location: McGowan's Falls)

3rd Prize: Jenn Morgan – Trillium on 3rd Sideroad.


As always, we are impressed by the amount of talent in West Grey and throughout the region.

Prizes were awarded to the winners with 1st prize receiving $100, 2nd prize $50 and 3rd prize received $25.

The three winners will also be eligible to win the ultimate 'Beauty of West Grey' photo contest, joining seasonal winners from 2017. The grand prize winner will be presented at the West Grey Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting at the Durham Legion on Tuesday, April 27.

The grand prize consists of an enlarged and framed copy of the winning photo, a photo business gift certificate, and a grand prize basket.

Tickets for the AGM and Dinner are $10 per person and are available at the door. Social will begin at 5:30 pm with dinner at 6 pm and a meeting to follow. Guest Speaker at this year's event will be Savanna Myers, Grey County Economic Development Manager.
