Two accused males are facing multiple criminal charges as a result of an investigation in Grey Highlands December 5.
In a December 6 media release, at around 11 p.m., Grey County OPP was called to a residence at Road 120 in Grey Highlands for an injured male victim. Police attended the address and arrested a male at the scene. Officers were assisted by OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) members and OPP Canine Unit, and a second male was located and arrested.
Members of the Grey County OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of Detective Inspector Randy Gaynor of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), continue to investigate the criminal occurrence.
Punit Gandhi, 29-years-old of Brampton, and Isaiah Morris, 22-years-old of Southgate were arrested and charged with Attempt to Commit Murder, Aggravated Assault, Kidnapping, Forcible Confinement, and Robbery with Weapon.
Both appeared for a bail hearing, where they have been held in custody. A subsequent court date has been scheduled for December 10 in Owen Sound.
