BY SOUTH GREY.CA STAFF — South Grey Museum was filled as we made our way through the crowd to find a seat on April 28th.

"This is a true story about an ordinary couple at a not so ordinary time in their life. They struggle to redefine themselves as one is diagnosed with a rare brain condition", according to the All Right So Far Facebook page. "It's a health and marriage journey", author Sheila Balls told us. "It's about health challenges and Carl learning to adapt to them" she added.

Sheila was a part time teacher and musician during her working career. She currently lives in Meaford but previously resided in Flesherton near the pond until about 8 years ago. For 12 years she and her husband Carl lived at Bass Lake which is south of Wiarton. It is this period of time that is covered in the book.

All Right So Far is Sheila's third book.

Hugh Lawford a friend of Sheila's introduced Sheila to the crowd.

At South Grey News, we endeavour to bring you truthful up-to-date local community news in a quick and easy-to-digest format that’s free of political bias. We believe this service is more important today than ever before, as social media has given rise to misinformation, largely unchecked by big corporations who put profits ahead of their responsibilities.

South Grey News does not have the resources of a big corporation. We are a small, locally owned-and-operated organization. Research, analysis and physical attendance at public meetings and community events requires considerable effort. But contributions from readers and advertisers, however big or small, go a long way to helping us deliver positive, open and honest journalism for this community.

Please consider supporting South Grey News with a modest donation and let us know that our efforts are appreciated. Thank you.
