The Owen Sound Chamber of Commerce will play host to an All Candidates Debate May 15 at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound, 1900 3rd Avenue East.
The Ontario Chamber of Commerce, through consultation with its membership, has taken on a “Vote Prosperity” initiative, compiling a list of what members feel should be discussed by the candidates in this campaign.
Concerns include the cost of doing business in Ontario compared to other competitor jurisdictions, limited business growth in the province, high electricity rates, a cap and trade regime, and labour law reforms.
The May 15 debate is set to take place from 7 to 9 p.m. and is expected to be broadcast on Rogers TV.
